Billing Information

All billing for Providence Imaging Center consists of two separate bills per exam: a technical fee, and a professional fee. Patients are automatically billed after the procedure.

Please contact PC, Inc. with any questions about the technical (exam) portion of your bill. Please contact Alaska Radiology Associates about the professional (interpretation) portion of your bill.

Most insurance companies require pre-authorization for MRI / CT / PET exams. Providence Imaging Center is happy to obtain any pre-authorization required by your insurance company.

PC, Inc. has the option to create a customized payment plan for bills from PIC.  For more details, please give them a call.

Providence Imaging Center does participate in the Charity Care program at Providence Alaska Medical Center.  A form is available for patients who would like to see if they qualify for this financial assistance.  After completing the form, please fax it to (907) 212-5827 or drop it off at our front desk at 3340 Providence Drive, Anchorage, AK.

For patients who will be receiving their first screening mammogram, this program is an excellent resource for those who are uninsured or underinsured.  From their Website: “BCHC can pay for approved screening exams. Anchorage Project Access is a program that helps uninsured Alaskans receive medical care via a network of participants, including healthcare providers and facilities.  Providence Imaging Center participates in this program.  Contact them at 339-8746 for more information.
